Specialist contingency insurance for financial losses
incurred from non-performance of the insured contract due to
death or disappearance of the contracting party on a world-wide
basis.
- Existence of such insurance must not be disclosed to the
contracting party
- Assured affirms state of health of the contracting
party on completed proposal form, with an ongoing duty of
disclosure during period of insurance
- Insurance is automatically cancelled from effective date of
termination of the insured contract
- Disappearance must continue for a period of more than 12
months
- Worldwide coverage, virtually free of exclusions
Coverage can be widened to include financial loses
following:
- Accidental bodily injury to the contracting party resulting
in:
- Loss of limb(s)
- Total and irrecoverable loss of sight of one or both
eyes
- Permanent total disablement by paralysis
- Illness of the contracting party resulting in:
- Total and irrecoverable loss of sight on one or both
eyes
- Permanent total disablement by paralysis
