minimum "stop" required having regard to the size and type or
rating of lens and stock being used

- An absence of a complete grey sky
Sunshine:
- Sufficient natural light to cause clearly defined shadows to be
visible

Absence of precipitation:
- An absence of rain, sleet, falling snow, hail, mist or other
precipitation and of fog
Rain:
- Amount of rainfall exceeds the specified amount per hour
Wind:
- Winds being in excess of 'force 4' (as measured at the nearest
meterological recording station)
